Hi Everyone and welcome to this installment of Notes From Norman. This is where I address some issues that I see multiple people dealing with.
Rescheduling Classes
The short of it: Those in their first month after transitioning from the old Luna Plan will need help rescheduling any classes they may want to move around.
The longer explanation: When I set up folk’s classes for the first month after the Transition, I set up a “dummy” Plan to schedule their classes from. Once that was done, they set up their own Plan, which is a normal recurring membership, and I cancelled the “dummy” Plan. When folks have gone in to change their schedule, they have found that when they cancel a class, they are not getting the classes credited back to their Plan. This happens because technically, the Plan that the classes came from was cancelled – even though they have an active Plan of the same name, the system sees it as being different and will not transfer the classes from one to the other. This was not foreseen. So, for the first month of their new Plan, I will be assisting with any scheduling tweaks that need to be done. It is a minor inconvenience that will resolve itself with the next Billing Cycle.
