Notes From Norman - Suspense

Updated: 3 days ago

Hi Everyone and welcome to this installment of Notes From Norman. This is where I will address issues that I see multiple people dealing with.

  • Going on vacation or traveling for work? Suspend your membership!

If you are going out of town for a while, you can suspend your membership while you are gone. Here's how it works:

Let's say someone is going out of town for 10 days starting on the 14th, and has a billing cycle date of the first of the month. They would let me know the dates and I would suspend their membership on the requested day and make a note to reactivate the plan on the day specified. In this case they would return on the 24rth (10 days after they leave on the 14th) and they would have used only 13 days on their plan. NOTE: when they come back, their billing cycle date will have permanently changed from the first to the 11th of the month, since they were suspended for 10 days.

If you are going to be gone for 2-3 days, it may not be worth it to suspend, but it is up to you.

As always, if you have questions about this or any other topic, or if there is something you would like me to cover in another Notes From Norman, send me a message and we’ll make it happen. See you in class! NW
