Erin Bright has been a Guest at TerraLuna since October, 2023 and she is also our Yoga Instructor as well as the Creatrix of Alchemy and Art, our Studio Partner. We'd like to get to know Erin a bit better.
What brought you to Pilates and how long you've been practicing?
My first Pilates experiences were in rehab from a foot surgery and I really liked the experience so when I met Lynelle Lyons-Wilson I was thrilled to sign up for a class and only loved the activity even more.
Do you have a goal you'd like to share that Pilates helped you/is helping you obtain?
My goal is more controlled core strength and I know it is working and affecting my posture in a positive way.
What class(es) have you/do you take? Do you have a favorite class?
I take a lot of Beginner but have intentions to do more Jump Lite classes.
What is an activity which was difficult for you in the beginning but is now easier?
I am still working to achieve that Pilates breath.
Tell us about props! Favorite and least favorite.
I love all the props…why would anyone not like the props?
If you had a "Signature Activity" what would it be?
Leg circles for days y’all!
How do you define "wellness"?
Being at peace and comfort in your thoughts and body while doing heart-filling activities.
Would you share a little-known fact about yourself?
I ran cross country in high school.
Finally, what is one food/drink you cannot live without?
Salad. I probably eat salad more than any other food. I like those shoestring potato chippies a whole lot and I eat a 32 oz jar of artichokes every 2 weeks. Maniac, I know, lol.
Thank you Erin, for sharing a bit about yourself and your Pilates journey!
