From Norman -

Hi Everyone and welcome to this installment of Notes From Norman. This is where I will address issues that I see multiple people dealing with.

It’s been a while! 

This Note From Norman is to start promoting Socktober. This is my favorite charity drive that we do.  We encourage our guests to donate socks, that we donate to a local charity base that gets them into the hands of homeless folks, to keep them a little warmer as the weather gets colder.  TerraLuna matches EVERY PAIR of socks that are donated.  The official number we are trying to achieve is 300 pairs of socks. This year I would love to match donations reaching 500 pairs of socks, so that we can donate 1,000 pairs to this worthy cause.  They don’t have to be expensive.  Get a 12-pack of tube socks, or whatever you would like to donate.  I would truly love to buy 500 pairs of socks to match these donations.  I might even think of something crazy to do if we reach this goal – wear some funny hat around, maybe go sockless for a week, I don’t know.  If you have something that you would like to see me do to celebrate such a victory, let me or Lynelle know.

But please – donate what you can.  No donation is too small or too large.  I’m aiming for 500 pairs donated, 200 beyond the official goal.  Tell you what:  if we can exceed 500 pairs, I will participate in every class we have on some weekday.  Want to see that?  Bring in some socks and you can make it happen.
