TerraGram vol 6

Greetings Friend,

Planksgiving, 2023 is in the books and as the past four weeks of social media posts can attest, it's been plank-tastic! We'll be posting results and winners soon, so stay tuned!

New Class Announcement:

Gentle Movers begins on Friday December 15 at 2:30pm.

This group class is geared towards Guests with movement or mobility challenges and for Beginners or more experience Guests seeking a gentle pace. We will allow plenty of time for stress-free and unhurried transitions between each activity, completing a full-body workout at a relaxed pace. We will learn and use proper Pilates techniques including active breathing and core muscle engagement as we develop body awareness, work on balance, and build strength in an accessible manner.

Are you keeping up with Notes from Norman blog series? Norman Wilson is your go-to person for tech support, billing and membership assistance, and most questions in general. He's begun a series of blog posts addressing common questions and topics he sees frequently so keep an eye open for those.

We also hope you've been enjoying the PT Posts blog series by our resident Physical Therapist Rebekah Trimbach, PT, MPT, CSCS, OCS. She'll be posting about sciatica soon and wants to remind you to be proactive with your mobility concerns by scheduling with her to nip a small problem in the bud before it grows into a bigger issue. Contact Rebekah with questions and book your appointment at TerraLuna via her schedule here

A season of giving is underway and we'd like to pass along some suggestions for ways

to give locally, with meaningful impact. If you are able this holiday season, consider donating to:

The Fringe Coffee House whose mission it is to provide job training, life-skills support, access to sober living space, and assistance in multiple ways to community members exiting prison.

www.Gracechangesthings.com/foundation was created by a Butler County Mom to lift up organizations and programs that support trans, non-binary and gender diverse kids. The Grace Changes Things Foundation envisions a world in which there are no barriers for trans, non-binary and gender diverse kids to live their lives as their true selves.

Lastly, we will be collecting winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves for all genders and sizes at the Studio for the first two weeks of December. Dave Lodder, operator of Lodder's Plaza in Millville, collects winter gear to distribute to those in need in the greater Hamilton/Cincinnati area. If you have unused winter items you'd like to donate, bring them by the Studio and we will hand them off to Dave.

Last but not least, perhaps you've heard the news (or seen the architectural drawing in the studio). We're expanding!

We'll be sharing more details, including an estimated construction schedule, as soon as we get them. It's going to be an exciting few months at TerraLuna!

May you find peace in each day and joy in your body.

Blessings,

Lynelle
